J.K. Rowling Apologizes For Killings

When looking back at her own writing, J.K. Rowling is apparently remorseful about some of her choices, including killing off certain characters in the pages of her most famous books, the Harry Potter series.

“Today I would just like to say: I’m really sorry about Fred,” Rowling wrote on Twitter Saturday, referring to the death of character Fred Weasley during the Battle of Hogwarts.

Ever since releasing her last Harry Potter book, Rowling has diversified her writing projects. Recently, her publisher announced a brand-new book titled “Very Good Lives,” a re-working of her famous 2008 commencement speech at Harvard.

As to getting a new installment of Harry Potter series, fans shouldn’t hold their breaths. “I’ve always said, I’m not gonna say ‘I definitely won’t’ because I don’t see why I should say that,” Rowling once remarked. “I think Harry Potter 8, as in, what happened next to Harry, Ron and Hermoine…I don’t think that’s going to happen.”
