Crazy Hair in Frozen Canada

Every February, Takhini Hot Spring, located near Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada, holds a contest in which bathers are invited to photograph the weird and wacky ways they style their hair while taking a dip at the springs. How is it possible? While in the winter, the spring’s water remains a balmy 36-42 degrees Centigrade, outside temperatures average around -30 degrees Centigrade! Just taking wet hair out of the water for a few minutes causes it to freeze! The winner of the funny contest gets a $150 cash prize.

A few of the best ‘dos are shown below. Which is your favorite? Let us know in the comments.
